亲爱的家长：

        您好！康桥国际学校至大陆地区创校之初，已对当地学校的各项规定有过初步的了解，包含学生接送的方式。大部分的学校是请家长停车在校外，并走路进校接回学生。但经过几番考虑，我们还是希望尽量减少学生在上放学时需要步行穿过马路的状况，因此决定开放家长车辆进入校园，让学生能在校园内安全的上下车。

        不过因为要让每位孩子都能顺利接送，又不能影响到学生的校园活动安全，势必就要请家长在接送动线排队行进，循序等候。从目前观察来看，从第一辆车入校至所有车辆离开，大约是20分钟以内。大家若都熟悉流程后，速度应该会更快一些。

        在此希望您协助几件事情，让大家在接送孩子的时候都能更平安顺畅：

        一、早上上学时，请在进入校门前就要将孩子叫醒，请他先拿好要携带的物品，如果可以先背好背包更好，这样在下车的时候，可以加快速度，减少大家的等候时间。

        二、尽量在接近接送区时再让孩子下车，避免孩子在车道上行走的状况。相对的，除了天候不佳的情形外，在接送区域的范围内都可以让孩子下车，不一定要到教室走廊前才下来。

        三、学校的老师会协助您开关车门，请驾驶员不要下车，容易被左侧离校车辆追撞。

        四、放学时，请您与孩子约定好准时在自接区等候，而不要等到抵达后再以电话联络，如此会造成整体队伍的延迟与等待。

        五、父母是孩子最好的榜样！请您从车接队伍尾端（一般来说，会在附图四、五排队起点附近）有礼依序等候，不要从队伍中段插队。同时，若您的孩子接送区域在后方的区块，请一样依序排队。进入图中”可超车区域＂后，在前方车辆停车接送孩子时，确认旁边车道净空再向外切，前往您的接送区；同一个接送区块的家长则请在队伍中等候。插队会造成擦撞的危险，也会使行车秩序紊乱，反而延误更久的时间。几十秒的耐心，可以换来大家的安全，敬请协助！

        自开学迄今，本校已经透过各种管道进行倡导，也感谢大部分家长的配合。不过仍有部分家长不遵守规范，影响全体权益。即日起，将进行为期一周的倡导期，并对违规车辆发放倡导传单。 倡导期后，将会直接开出违规登记单，登记超过三次者将取消车接资格，敬请各位配合，谢谢！

Pick-up Rules Reminder

Dear Parents:

Hello! When KCIS set up in mainland China, we follow the local school rules which includes how to correctly pick- up and drop-off students. Most schools only allow parents to park their cars outside the campus and then the students walk to their classrooms. However, KCIS decided to allow parents to drive onto our campus, so the students don't have to walk across the street.

In order for the pick-up and drop off of students to run smoothly and safely, we asked for our parents' cooperation and patience. The pick-up and drop off process lasts about 20 minutes.

We need your cooperation in order for the process to go well.

1. Your child should be awake and ready to leave the car with all their belongings before your car enters the campus. It will help minimize the waiting time.

2. Please let your child get off near the pick-up areas to reduce the chances for your child walking on the lane. Of course, except the bad weather, your child could get off in the pick-up areas, not necessarily to be got off in front of the hall way.

3. Teachers will help you to open and close your car door. Drives remain in your car seat, please.

4. Please make sure that your child knows when you are going to pick him or her up and wait in the pick-up areas before the designated time.

5. Parents are the best role models for children! When you pick up your child, please wait at the end of the line. (generally near the attached photo No.4 and No. 5) Don’t cut. When in the back of the pick-up area, please continue to wait in line until you have made sure the side lane has no cars and then you can skip the queue. Going out of the line increases the risk of a collision, makes the traffic disorderly, and can cause others to wait for a long time. Be patient for everyone's safety, and thanks for your cooperation.

Since the semester began, we have made these announcements via many channels and most parents have cooperated. However, there are still some parents have difficulty following the pick-up rules. For now, we will have a week-long reminder period and give leaflets to those who break the rules. After this reminder period, those who break the rules will be given a Registration of Pick-Up Violation. If this happens three times, you will no longer be permitted to pick up your child on campus.
